The simple scrambler cups ARE SOLD IN THE REFRIGERATED SECTION, most of the other Jimmy dean products I've seen are frozen. I don't know who 'Stop Being Rude' is, but you're the one being rude. Wait 30 seconds then eat! I find these a LOT better than the Jimmy Dean product. So I cook them on the light side, remove them from the microwave and stir. After you've cooked one or two of these you will know exactly how long to cook them (40 to 55 seconds in total) so they're not overly hard and over-cooked,(remember an egg will continue to cook a bit after you remove it).
#Ore ida just crack an egg bulk crack
Crack two eggs in the cup, beat them, open the packets and add the meat, peppers and cheese then microwave. It's similar, but you use your own egg (at least I know I'm eating a real egg)! I have made all of these and found it's even better using two eggs. I prefer the other product 'Just add an Egg', sold in the egg section. If you did, let us know your thoughts below. Note: There's also a Bacon Simple Scramble variety available. If you find them for a good price, I recommend you try them. They're better than similar products that are found in the freezer section. They're found in the refrigerator section of the grocery store. I liked the bacon flavor in the Meat Lovers version, but the sausage and cheese were less noticeable. There was some liquid remaining in the bottom of the cup, but a few more seconds of cooking fixed them right up. They stayed moist, but were slightly crumbly in texture.įor some reason, the Meat Lovers Scramble required 15 more seconds of cooking than instructed on the package. The sausage flavor is very pronounced and there's significantly more cheese than in the Meat Lovers variety. Of the two varieties I tried, I preferred the Sausage Scramble just slightly more. It all takes less than 2 minutes and is very easy to prepare. First you microwave the egg and then you stir in the contents of the pouch. Within the cup is a smaller cup of liquid egg and a small pouch filled with meat and cheese. Second: Preparation is two steps longer than you probably expect. It's still a decent, fairly-filling amount. Once fully cooked, the cup the product comes in will be just slightly over 1/3 full.

First: The amount of food will probably be less than you expect. They're not the most attractive scrambles you'll ever have, but the flavors and texture you hope for do come through. I tried 2 varieties of Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles: Sausage and Meat Lovers.
